Monday, July 09, 2007*peers around* ahem. *twiddles fingers* i still have not finished my new layout *sheepish grin* sigh ^^;;;; lazy =)right now i'm in houston, it's BLOODY HOT here O_o Escaped from singapore weather to more singapore weather. Good grief *lol* So yours truly has resorted to taking refuge artic-temperature rooms instead. Sometimes I think i will miss michigan winters. *lol* Work has been pretty good on the whole, typical 8 hours a day kind of week , with lots of bumming thrown in during the weekends (which is brillant) ^_^/ went to watch a baseball game the other day, and it was incredibly boring. I think i spent more time talking to the guy next to me about Gaiman than counting score. Sometimes i think the only reason baseball is america's favourite sport is cos americans refuse to succumb to the worldwide football mania - they'd have to be different in every possible way, of course. The game seems to be more of something that is fun to be played, but terrible to be watched, if you know what I mean 36 hours to the HArry POtter movie right now, and I CAN'T WAIT =) Though I think i will terribly regret the midnight viewing on tuesday....wonder how i'm going to explain away my sleepiness to my boss the next day.. *grin* but who cares, it's harry potter =) And i think that will be all for now...jsut a few links for the bored pple... - Ratatouille is an incredible show, so do watch it if you can =) - the Concert For Diana was an incredible motley collection of artists from many eras coming together to make up a really GOOD concert. You can watch it all at VH1 over here. Go to the vSpot link and if you don't see the performances, click on the 'Concert for Diana' tab. Specific artists/performances to look out for: - Elton John - Duran Duran - James Morrison - incidentally, i love this guy's album - Lily Allen - I like her songs too..Smile has funny lyrics - The Feeling - AWESOME stuff. The album is highly highly recommended =) - Status Quo - Rocking All Over The World - Rodger Hodson/Supertramp - Give A LIttle Bit - Tom Jones - KISS - Will Young - interesting performance, watch for the dancing - Bryan Ferry - Everythign is good, but defnitely do not miss the Dylan cover of To Make You Feel My Love. Absolutely magical, mind blowing stuff. - Andre Botcelli's Music of the Night - Josh Groban & Sarah Brightman's All I Ask of You - Donny Osmond and Jason Donovan for Anything Will Do (joseph's technicolor dreamcoat) - COnnie Fisher's Memories from Cats - Take That - their new songs are actually pretty good...i love Shine =) *phew* =) enjoy =) stardusted at 7:19 PM | link? 0 Call me number 1!© sephirot productions 2008 |
