Ethics/Personal Life:

Has a blog post ever got you into trouble?
Nope. never. i usually blog pretty safe things on this blog. everything else too dangerous to publicise gets stored in secret places. ^^

How many people do you know face-to-face who read your weblog?
Errr. Let's see. I htink it's safe to say almost everyone save for perhaps one or two.

Have you met any of your regional (or even remote) bloggers?
Yup ^^ Stejuste, definitely ^^

Do you modify or delete posts? How often? Why?
Erm. I hardly ever modify or delete. Usually due to sheer laziness, and the fact that it's not really necessary ^^ Of course once in awhile i add things in to clarify a vague point etc.

How much is your weblog a part of your personal identity? Do you feel like people who don't know about your blog don't really know you?
It's very much a part of my identity. And yes, I do think those who don't read my blog don't really know me. It's basically another side/extension of me which i don't usually show. ^^ Reading my blog will just give you a more well-rounded understanding of me ^^

How has blogging changed your life?
Hmm. Interesting question. I don't really really know. ^^; It has given me a reason to look out for other things in life, so that I may blog about them. I think I've become more aware of my thought processes and writing style through this, and definitely gained a better understanding of myself. Especially when I re-read old posts. *lol* Not to mention it has increased my friend circle XD

Technical/Design:

Do you know how to code at all? Did you learn how to code by blogging?
Yup I do. Though I usually let dreamweaver do the work for me ^^;;; Coding so not fun. ^^; Blogging was definitely the catalyst for me to learn some coding. Else I wouldn't have been able to satisfy the need to customise everything i own. XD

What weblogging tool do you use and why?
Blogger. I've been with them since the very beginning. ^^ I like how it's easy to use, with a high level of customisation. It's also really fast, and if my server ever dies, i have a backup of everyhting i posted on blogger ^^

Does the design seem like something that is just something that has to be dispensed with in order to be able to write publicly, or is your design an integral part of your writing and presentation?
I think my design, together with my writing, helps to project my personality. so it would be an integral part of my presentation. My blog is who I am. ^^

How many times have you changed your weblog design entirely (or nearly so)?
*points at title bar* 15 layouts as of today ^^ So yes, I love to change layouts. Obviously XD

Readership/Motivation:

How many people would you guess (educated guess based on hit counts/logfiles) read your weblog on a weekly basis at least?
Er. Weekly basis? i wouldn't know. 10+? Judging by my logs, i think the same friends read it regularly, and a large group of random strangers find my blog through various keywords like bishonen, slash and wallpaper XD

What have you done to get more people to look at your site?
Hm. Stick my web address on my email sig is all I do. I don't exactly want to publicise it. Like PL, i'd feel better knowing who exactly reads my blog ^^;

What one or two characteristics make a blog really popular? Are there things that you could do to have more people read your weblog that you conciously do not do? Why?
Good writing. Good design. Good content. Which makes three characteristics, but I guess that doesn't really matter does it? *lol* I could update my blog more regularly, write about things with more mass appeal etc etc but I don't since it's My Blog and there's really no point in catering to the masses in this. I don't exactly write for people; I write for myself. ^^

What really popular weblog do you think most deserves it...and/or least deserves it?
Neil Gaiman's blog. My absolute favourite. I love his wit and discussions on everything under the sun. ^^ The one who least deserves it is the xiaxue blog. this singaporean. just too much vanity, imbued with bitchiness and a total exploitation of the power of the internet. it's just embarrassing that she's one of the 'best' bloggers in my country. Still trying to figure out what's her appeal O_o And nope, not linking. Not worth doing so.

How do you feel about your readership? What makes for a quality readership to you?
My readership's fantastic ^^ A quality readership is one who reads what you write, and well, comment once in awhile? *grin* I'm pretty satisfied as is ^^

Influence of Other Bloggers:

What other blogger is most responsible for you starting your own weblog.
Hmm. I think PL? We basically started out on this together, holding each other's hand through the process ^__^

Who was the first other blogger (that you know of) who put you on thier sidebar, and how did you feel? How did it influence your blogging?
PL ^^ I felt damn great XD I was totally overjoyed haha. And well, it made me want to write more, just cos I wasn't the only one reading it ^^

What other blogger do you most admire for her writing skills?
Hm. Tzo's blog. love the writing, always ^^

What other blogger do you most admire for her design skills?
raydance. *nod nod* i've always loved her layouts. though never as good as her ^^;

Who is a blogger that you think is really good but doesn't get nearly the attention they are worthy of?
hmmmmmm. Tzo again. And en. They write fantastic ^^

Do you feel obligated to have people on your link lists/sidebars that you never read?
Yes. It's called link exchange anyways ^^

What one or two characteristics define a really quality blog (in your humble opinion, of course)?
witty writing. gorgeous design ^^

Earl grey or green tea.

Heee. Let's see. hokkien, chinese, english, french, japanese and german ^^ My early days in the MOELC were spent learning all the swear words in every available language just so I would know when people were cussing XD

possible, i'd say. benevolent is questionable. he/she might be just performing a function.

no.

What famous person you really wish you could be friends with?
neil gaiman. i think he'd make a very interesting friend ^^

What makes you act the most evil?
bimbos with nothing between their ears. ^^; just makes me wanna tease/rile them up ^^;;;

a moderate amount? *grin* there's a huge chunk including this blog I'd rather she not know ^^; she doesn't know about the slash either *big sweatdrop*

What music did you once love but can?t even listen to now?
hm. heavy metal a la dir en grey and jrock indies. it's really just noise nowadays when I try to re-listen to their songs.

What?s the dirtiest book you?ve ever read?
Anne Rice's The Vampire Armand. O_o I picked it up to complete the series, and it turned out to be a soft porn book O_O THe vampires bit was just a teeeeny bit. The rest was about Armand's education in the *ahem* brothels *ahem* of -all- kinds. O_o

Are you a top, bottom, or versatile?
... I wouldn't know, would I O_o

What is your most prominent dysfunction?
procrastination too ^^;

scriptina for fancy things, verdana for webpages and arial for documents ^^

italian!!!! or just plain olive oil and vinegar will do ^^

chicken pox? never really got seriously ill before. my most terrible injury was a twisted wrist ^^;
