sigh. currently 1.40 am in the morning. And I am listening to the rain fall outside while i sit in my room, under the dim lights. Feels nice. *grin* just saw a FULL lunar eclipse last night too!! was waaaaaay cool XD sorry i haven't been updating for a long looong time, cos there was just waaay too much work *haha* i did manage to complete some new layouts for the blog though, so be prepared for a change come halloween. XD The chicago trip was fantastic!!! had lots of fun. we basically ate and ate and ate till we went broke *hahaah* our itinerary was something like:

day 1 - went on train to chicago. chicago v cold and v.v.v.v. windy. ((O_O)) tired. ate pizza in hotel. saw lots of comedy and anime on cable tv. went to sleep

day 2 - woke up late. went for good hearty breakfast. visited patch in U of CHicago. Gorgeous place. then went to Penang for big singaporean/malaysian food feast. Then went for huge cup of bubble tea at chinatown. then had japanese food for dinner. then ate gorgeous Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory. (nearly died eating this cos it was gorgeous) ((O_o)) Haha. Am now very very sick of chocolate. but it was good while it lasted *haha*

day 3 - er. woke up late again. had breakfast at same place again. er. andican'trememberwhathappensafterthat *hahaha* OH. Right. Visited museums. Lots of em. Went to the aquarium, the natural history museum and the planetarium. Planetarium was the most boring. we initially paid 6 bucks to watch an iMax movie. Ended up paying 6 bucks to sleep in a very very comfy chair. XD later on pieced together contents of movie by putting together all the different parts that we managed to stay awake for. *ROTFL* then, SHOPPING. hahaha. bought nice fleece sweater and pink scarf for v good price. sho pretty. sho happy XD dinner was chicago deep-dish pizza. group of smart singaporeans (i.e. us) called three large deep-dish pizzas and one large plate of calamari appetizer. obviously could not finish. ended up playing a game to see who had to eat it all *hahha* am now also heartily sick of pizza and its variants. ^^;;;;

day 4 - dim sum at chinatown. i think i went to heaven. *sighs blissfully* couldn't have been better. then, art institute. *_* gorgeous european collection. all the monets *sigh* after that, more shopping, before rushing like mad back to the train station to catch our train. felt like the amazing race *LOL*

and that was it. as you can see, we ate alot O_o but damn fun. and now, after chicago, somehow Ann Arbor doesn't feel so cold anymore XD. coooool XD
