well. have't been blogging, as usual. since I'm lazy, and well, I've hardly been home, much less online *haha* but things. lots of things *grin*

1. went for ear candling, which resulted in me having a hollow dripless candle stuffed into my ear to get all the crap out; accompanied with a gorgeous massage *haha* everything now seems extra loud. O_o

2. the past weekend was wonderful, since i had the car, which also means I get a trump card over my sis (do THIS or I shan't fetch you to school in the morning) and I save tons of money spent on public transport. XD Manage to wheedle out one week of perfect behaviour, coorporation and silence from her. Bliss. XD

3. Listening now to a rip of Suede's latest and last album, See You In The Next Life - a beautiful, heart-rendering collection of alternate versions of some of their most gorgeous songs. Feeling sad now. They didn't have to break up! *whine* Shall put up some songs when I get the time *grin* But wow. Pretty. Pity it's not for sale (only fan-club members get it) Elaine Page, especially. Sad song. Yes this is the end..This is the final showdown *sniffle*

4. dl-ed lots and LOTS of yaoi scanlations from IRC. *cackles madly* I finally got my fserve to work, and thus got downloading priority. *haha* I love cable connections. XD

5. borrowed Origin, a Marvel comic on Wolverine's story, and 1602, Gaiman's first foray into the Marvel universe, from a friend. Rather good, actually. The art is really really good (same artist) and so are the stories. Fans of Sandman, however, may be slightly disappointed with 1602, since it's nowhere near the sort of deep philosophical seriousness that Sandman possesses. In comparison, it's way shallower. But still interesting. I think it puts an interesting twist on things, dredging up all the popular Marvel characters and throwing them together into a fantasy setting. Gaiman as usual is able to insinuate plenty of mythological and fantasy elements into his story, making it a very enjoyable read with a good twist at the end. Just one thing though, you should at least know the X-Men, Fantastic Four and Spiderman pretty well before you read it. Otherwise, you might not fully appreciate it. *haha*Origin on the other hand, was cool. *grin* Wolverine's story very interesting. Read it. XD
