Am currently rather miffed with certain responsibilities that I've got to attend to. *sigh* I honestly don't know what to do! *throws hands up in the air* Am very tempted to just throw in the towel and call it quits...if not for the time and money I've invested in it *sighs heavily*

Meanwhile, I'll do some replies to clear my mind *lol*

was thinking about getting you the neverwhere dvd for christmas - but i don't know about the region thing - did you say you figured that out yet? would be painful if you got it and then couldn't watch it *grinz* (or would you prefer POTC? :> )

LOLOL! oui, les Chiques Psychiques! *lolololol* coffee has a bad effect on me - my heart starts pounding and i actually get high on it. then i get sleepy. er >.< :)

yes!!! that's exactly it!!! *laughing* oh dear :) i'm better than i used to be though. i used to keep *everything*, including receipts and movie tickets. but i really don't want to grow old and become one of those Creepy Old Lady With Cat in a House Full of Junk-type people *grin* so i'm forcing myself to dump more stuff nowadays :)

*rotfl* I think we understand each other perfectly XD I still have all my receipts and movie tickets though. Er. ^^;;; I also collect plastic bags and postcards and old brochures - they just tend to accumulate, you know? Man, I think I have to start throwing some stuff away..*lol* I can just imagine both of us as Creepy Old Ladies on different sides of the world with similar hordes of Things. *ROTFLMAO*

if i knew how to rip it i'd rip 'em for you. really must go and find out what program to get so i can do that. i also want to get some of my hard-to-obtain videos on CD... so scared of them growing mould and dying :( :)

*lol* I was researching this the other day, and found quite a few sites with comprehensive guides on how to rip dvds. Just put a search through google for "How to rip dvds" and lots of stuff should come out. I think there are a few programs that actually automate the process for you, so it's not too hard (hopefully) *grin*Hmm, if you were to rip and send it over, wouldn't it be dangerous? US seems to be really strict over piracy these days ^^;;; Here's some of the sites I found helpful ^^

i haven't picked up POTC yet - i think my TTT extended dvd has already arrived but i didn't get around to checking the mailbox - will probably pick it up after work next week. can't wait to see the features... that's really sad man, that i'm buying the damn thing for the special features rather than the actual movie.. don't know what that says about me - or the movie! *lolol!*

But hey! The movie was good! I just let my friend see it today, and she says TTT makes more sense now, with all the extras in ^^ You won't regret it *grin* All that UST!!!! *big grin*

i meant to watch love actually - the trailer looked pretty cute. that guy is not bad - you like guys with glasses???? *starts laughing*

Well, I rather like the Cute Intellectual look you see *grin* And glasses on certain guys just look totally gorgeous XD

i have The Ninth Gate dvd playing in the background today. i must reluctantly admit that Depp *is* good. he does grow on you i guess. i really preferred richard grieco back in the old Jump St days, but time has proven me wrong - Depp really can act better and really ended up looking better too. Grieco, sadly, has degenerated quite a lot and is now reduced to rather bad B movies and made-for-tv movies >.< :)

Speaking of Ninth Gate, they were showing it in Singapore a few weeks ago, and got me really mixed up *lol* I'm not sure if it's cos they cut out some scenes, or if the movie was really that disjointed, but I never really understood what was happening. Who was the girl? The devil? And what's the significance of finding the ninth gate? Do you go to heaven? Or hell? *big sweatdrop* Depp did end up passing through in the end, right? But Depp's acting was -good- XD I've also realised that he has a very distinct way of scrambling down stairs and running off when he is acting petrified. He did something similar for Sleepy Hollow too! *grin*

Well, because Orli has the potential to reach that sort of level! And he has good acting, even though it isn't really noticeable because the roles he's been cast in so far do not allow him to fully display that talent. I mean, in LOTR, he has something like 20 lines per movie, and nothing much else. In POTC, he is supposed to be boring and stereotypical. So you really can't blame him. And in terms of looks, he is up there with them!!!

*lol* I think I better stop here before my chronic Orli-obsession takes over and I start ranting XD
