POTC Rants. Yer be warned.

'Tis rant here's gonna be in two parts. The first for everyone's favourite Bloom, and the second for the ghei-est pirate to walk this part of the earth. *rotfl*

*deep breath* OMIGAWD!!!!!orliissobloodycuteaswillturner!!!!!!!! *squeals* Oh. My. Gawd. *drops dead in a swoon* He was friggin' GORGEOUS!!!!!!! I nearly died when he first came out in that dashing outfit conplete with that pair of flattering leggings and the oh-so-easily-unbuttoned shirt. *droool* And the swords...and the swordfights... *sighs* And that hat!!! With the big beeg plume! And the cape!!! And his various states of undress when he was a 'pirate'!!!!!!!!! *thunk* I loved the scene where he drew a sword while Captain Jack Sparrow was trying to humour the soldiers. *lol* And he cried "Avast!" *rotfl* Which totally undid me cos he was trying so hard to speak pirate-speak. *rotfl* I was totally lost in the sword fights. *sigh* His leggings were....interesting. *rotfl* And the shirt. I won't forget that shirt in a hurry, that's for sure. XD XD XD XD

*takes another deep breath* And Depp was so hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved him!!!! So friggin' GHEI!!!!!!!!!!!!! *ROTFLMAO* Loved the first bit when he arrived at the harbour with all that pomp and splendour. *ROTFL* His bearings when he stepped off that mast was ridiculously funny. *giggles uncontrollably* And his swaying!!! Gawd. *ROTFL* did you see the bit when Will Turner tried to imitate him? *ROTFL* He looked hilarious!!! And the bit when Will Turner was stating his terms to Barbados! Jack was like pointing desperately to himself and almost shouting "Me!! Me, you bloody idiot. Make them let me go!" *ROTFL* Oh, and all those furious women. And his theatrical bit when he 'rejected' Elizabeth's advances. XD XD XD. I was totally worn out by the time the show ended. *rotfl* Laughed too hard and gushed too much. *rotfl* I tell you, I was in heaven. Of the best kind. *rotfl* Gorgeous Depp and Dashing Bloom!!!!!!! *sparkly eyes*

Gawd. I wanna watch it AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! Stejuste!!! That's it. The moment you come down here, you, me, Shu and Ivory will go down to the nearest cinema and squeal together. *grin* My cinema-mates this time round were hardly complimentary. *sigh* *lol* They kept criticising my Orli!!! *theatric faint* Blasphemy!!! *sigh* And I missed the first five seconds. Which meant five seconds less of Orli. *whine* So I WILL watch it again. *grin*

In short, LOVED THE SHOW. It's now up there in my list of all-time favourites, together with LOTR, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands and the up-and-coming Troy. *lol* It was a simple plot, but Bruckheimer did a brilliant job making it cool. Loved the underwater bit too!! Stejuste, you were right, that scene was so cool! Of course my favourites were the sword fights, and my absolute favourite was the one between Will and Jack. *grin* The scene was practically oozing with slashy possibilities. *rotfl* That and the scene when they stole the boat. Slashy!!! XD XD XD Jack's 101 ways to escape were bloody clever. *grin* *in awe*

My favourite bits:

Anamaria: You stole my boat!

Jack : Actually [she slaps him again] ... borrowed, borrowed without permission. But with every intention of bringing it back to you.

Elizabeth : [toasts] To freedom.

Jack : To the Black Pearl . [drinks and loses consciousness; wakes in the morning to the smell of smoke; sees the island burning and runs to Elizabeth ] No! Not good! Stop! Not good! What are you doing? You burned all the food, the shade, the rum!

Elizabeth : Yes, the rum is gone.

Jack : Why is the rum gone?

Elizabeth : One, because it is a vile drink that turns even the most respectable men into complete scoundrels. Two, that signal is over a thousand feet high. The entire Royal Navy is out looking for me, do you really think that there is even the slightest chance that they won�t see it?

Jack : But why is the rum gone?

Official: ...impersonating an officer of the Spanish Royal Navy, impersonating a cleric of the Church of England...

Jack : [smiling] Oh, yes. [looks over at the executioner who glares at him]

*tries to imagine Jack Sparrow in a cleric's clothes and fails utterly* *ROTFLMAO*

Jack : [notices the parrot] Well! I�m actually feeling rather good about this. [to Governor Swann ] I think we've all arrived at a very special place, eh? Spiritually, ecumenically, grammatically? [to Norrington] I want you to know that I was rooting for you, mate. Know that. Elizabeth ...it would never have worked between us, darling. I�m sorry. Will ...nice hat. Men! This is the day that you will always remember as the day that you ... [falls over battlement]

*ROTFL* loved this bit. Especially the 'ecumenically, grammatically' bit. *lol* And the 'Darling, I'm sorry' bit XD XD XD

*heh heh* Shall go off to look for slash now. XD XD XD. More later. *grin*
