Life Stories

1. Blogger was screwy two days ago, so this nook was quiet, for once. But not for long. I've already completed all the replies *heh heh* and they're LONG desu. ^^;;;;;

2. Bought Gackt ARENA37 today. *drooooooool* The 20 pages of him are gorgeous! And the larger-than-life-sized poster is just a dream come true. *big gusty sigh* A must buy for the fans ^^

3. Found also the taiwanese version of the HydexGackt photobook, which costs only $33, waaaay cheaper than the japanese version which costs $80. Only difference is that the taiwanese one is not in hard cover. Didn't succumb to temptation though. *big grin* Am proud of myself. ^^V

4. Bought Taishi Zaou's artbook. I've no idea who the artist is, but she draws beautiful fluffy shonen-ai/yaoi pics. ^^ And the guys are SO CUTE. ^^ Will be scanning in some pics soon, so don't fret. Wallpapers and stuff will appear in abundance soon enough.

5. Also bought (yes, I know, lots of things ^^;) recently, the Sandman Companion and a set of Sandman Collector's Postcards. The postcards were gorgeous, and already scanned in by one very mad fan. *sheepish grin* I've already made three wallpapers of Dream and one Death blog layout. *lol* The pics were too beautiful. *sigh* Will be putting them up soon. Am slightly lazy at the moment ^^;

6. Am into Janny Wurts at the moment. I rather like her style. She tends to write in epic proportions, but her stories are gripping and intense, which I like. ^^ I recommend The Master Of WhiteStorm. Very unique hero-quest book IMO. Read it and you'll see what I mean. ^^

7. Read Dragon Winter by Elizabeth A Lynn. The sweet romance between Dragon and Azil was a plus-point (yes, it's shonen-ai). ^^/ I much prefered this book to her Chronicles Of Tornor. The plot was tighter and the characters more memorable. Beautiful stuff.

8. Reading A A Attanasio's Dragon And Unicorn. Book seems to be written almost entirely in third person, and all magical entities like gods and unicorns are electromagnetic energies. The book is beginning to get draggy, and I haven't even reached the half-way point ^^;;;
