From Stejuste's blog, some time ago. ^^;

1. what languages do you know, and how well do you know them?

Erm. I know english. And chinese. And some cantonese. Also a smattering of french and japanese, and some key phrases in elvish ^^ But the only one I'm really good at is english ^^;

2. do you like poetry? what kind? who are your favorite poets?

I like poetry that has a nice rhythm and if they rhyme, that's even better. Favourite poets include Charlotte Mew, Roald Dahl and Dr. Seuss ^^;;;;;; Oh. And John Donne. ^^ I like rhyme. *grin* Charlotte Mew's The Trees Are Down was beautiful, and so was John Donne's poem on getting a child with mandrake root. ^^;;

3. if you drink alcohol, what is your favorite drink? if you don't, what is your favorite drink?

If I had to drink, I'd prolly choose a cocktail. I like sweet stuff, and since most alcoholic stuff tastes bad...well... ^^;;; But my absolute favourite is green tea ^^

4. which do you think is more likely, that we will find that there is sentient life somewhere else in the cosmos, or that there will one day be peace on earth?

I think sentient life in the cosmos is more likely. Humanh nature does not allow for peace on earth. That'd be asking too much, really ^^; Gah. I'm such a cynic ^^

5. what is your personal opinion re. (a) abortion (b) feminism (c) homosexuality and (d) self-injury?

O_O GP essays!!!! *faints*

a)I think it's justified. Forgive me if I sound like a prick, but I can't understand why people attach so much emotion to an abortion. And hence I don't see any wrong in getting rid of a foetus since it most likely isn't concious, and it'd solve the immediate problem (if there is one). I do understand the need for some to uphold the whole 'sanctity of life' thing, as we wouldn't want women getting abortions just because they feel like it - the human population would dwindle sharply. ^^;;; On the other hand, I don't think some people should keep forcing others to keep a baby when they can't or are just plain unwilling. If I were the foetus, I'd rather not be born. I wouldn't want parents who didn't want me in the first place. And I shall stop here ^^;; I think my view is slightly biased. Ah well ^^

b)Er. Feminism. Actually, I've never really thought about this. It never affected me personally. Perhaps this is because I'm in a generation where pretty much everyone takes for granted that women can do things as well as or even better than men can. So. Not much thoughts here, although I am rather miffed over our country going on about equality and all that and at the same time having double standards for university admission...

c)Oooh. My favourite topic XD XD XD I totally support it. Everyone has the right to love whoever he/she wants. Hell, homosexuals are barely a threat to society! I think something has to be done to change the mindsets of people. Banning homosexuality is wrong, and is a totally unreasonable action. And homosexuals have every right to be treated as normal people. They did nothing wrong anyway. They didn't kill. They don't steal. So what's the problem? Maybe there should be a national campaign where everyone is encouraged to read sirius/remus slash XD XD XD THough when that day comes, pigs will sprout wings and fly. ^^;

d)I think this is Scary. Really really scary with a capital 'S'. I once knew a girl in my school who practiced this. I don't know her personally, but she realy freaked me out. I think it's scary to be in a spot where you hate yourself so much you just want to self-destruct. I hope I never reach that level of depression >.<
