Sunday, May 25, 2003Wahahaha ^o^ I'm on a downloading spree now, getting everything 'Clay Aiken' XD XD So, while waiting, I thought I'd catch up on some replies ^^ And oh my!! It's finally raining!!!!!! *dances rain dance* Yippee ^^ Replies to Shu are below, since Stejuste's one is so LONG ^^;;;To stejuste: re.contacts: yellow would be cool! i don't know if it would go well with the rest of me though :> i liked green, it was very startling. just that it didn't look very natural and at the time not many people were using colored lenses yet. i wasn't prepared to be quite that obvious *grin* eh, so i'm not the only one who experiences the fading effect? i wonder where the dye goes *sweatdrop* :) I think you are the only one I know who experiences that effect, dear ^^ I think most people don't even realise it. *grin* Then again, most people down here don't use fancy contacts ^^ I wonder where the dye goes, too ^^;;;;;;;;; *LOL!* yah, it's (IRC's) different. it's just that it helped a lot in getting me mentally used to the *idea* before i started doing it more often physically. i couldn't say the words, either *LOLOL* yeah, it definitely gets easier with repeats :) sort of grinds down the inhibitions *grin* but at least you don't have a problem with physical hugs. voila the westernization of our society :) in my case it wasn't just a matter of me having difficulty hugging others, either - others also had difficulty approaching me, because i tend to have certain boundaries in my physical space and i tend to stiffen up if someone comes too close to me physically without my approval. i guess i'll never be a totally huggy-kissy type of person, but there's definitely been some improvement over the years, especially being here in the US :) *lol* Happens to me too ^^ People rarely approach me unless I start acting friendly to them. They say I can look very scary when I want to *rotfl* I think I know what you mean. The idea of hugging people just sort-of became something more natural to you, right? nope, never liked johnny :P :) i can't imagine him as a vampire!! oh... maybe i can ^^; :) however, i will say that i just saw a long tv trailer for pirates of the caribbean last night and he actually looks interesting. almost didn't recognize him, because he has a lot of costuming on. beard and mustache and eyepatch and long hair and whatnot. he did look the part, though! there was a smaller clip of Orlando and he looked surprisingly good too, despite the mustache :) okay, ned kelly sounds more familiar now. i liked heath after that Julia Stiles movie. he's the classic bad boy :) i always thought Jude was too skinny (didja see him in Ripley? he was gaunt!) but i saw a recent photo of him in which he looked more fleshy. maybe he had to bulk up a little for some role. he definitely looks much better with a little more meat on him. Of course you can. Johnny looks creepy enough to be one ^^ Yup, Johnny was almost unrecognisable in Pirates. Lots of hair. I could hardly see his face!!!! *whine* I think Johnny still looked best in Sleepy Hollow. I like to see him in period costume ^^ Nah, Jude looks good skinny or no ^^/ But yes, he looks better a little plump *lol* I liked him in Ripley, actually. ^^ For some reason, I'm beginning to have a thing for guys with british accents *lol* re.cd-exchange: wow! thanks so much!!! *major glomps!* i did download the animatrix clips from the site at some point, but still haven't got around to viewing them yet. the parcel has not arrived yet. i'm not sure what the delivery time will be like from your end to mine, but i'll keep a hopeful eye out for it this week :) *grin* no problem ^^ It was all on my HD anyway ^^ I've made a list of nice Laruku songs to hear. *big grin* Will send it to you soon ^^ LOLOL! i think flying aversion increases with age. i loved flying as a kid. couldn't get enough of it. for mostly the same reasons as you, too *grin* back then there were no computer games but they were a helluva lot more generous with freebies. i loved loading up with free stuff - they would always give kids lots and lots of games and stuff. plus they let us visit the cockpit and the pilots would show us all the buttons and stuff. nowadays of course there are no more cockpit visits (gee, thanks, terrorists :\ :) :} but it's cool to have in-seat video and video games. actually i have yet to play any of the video games. never been much of a gamer. i tend to die within the first couple of minutes :} :) the only reason i would want to buy a video game console is for the graphics. I know!! All those freebies! They never stopped giving them to my sis and I ^^; There came a time when between me and my sis, we'd get something like 4 boxes of Solitaire, 6 plush dolls etc on just one trip to and from singapore ^^;;;;;;;;;;;; I visited the cockpit before too!!! it was lovely, seeing all the lights around you ^^ And I was lucky enough to get to see the stewardesses' sleeping quarters. It was a small room with very compact bunk beds *lol* Yup, I can't pay games either. I'll only pass the first level after somethign like 50 tries ^^;; At least, that's what happened to me while playing mario ^^;;; I still have yet to pass level 7 -___-|| re.movies and books: i learned my error the second time around. i did not re-read chamber of secrets before i went to watch, which was and was not rewarding. on the plus side i didn't get irritated by differences. on the minus side, i kept wondering what the hell was going on and what was going to happen next. i'm the sort that likes to know everything before i watch, you see, because i can't stand suspense. too stressful *grin* do you know who are going to play lupin and sirius? i still haven't turned on my computer at home yet. conked out again and was comatose until this morning *grin* *lol* Sometimes, I like to know the ending while watching ^^ So I can concentrate on other things, like LegolasxAragorn scenes XD XD XD Yup, Lupin and Sirius has been confirmed. I'm not exactly sure who the actors are, but I've seen some pictures. And they don't look very good ^^;;;;; Ok, to be honest, Sirius looks ok. He looks like Faramir in Two Towers. Lupin however *shudder* He looks -fat-. And -happy-. *whine* He doesn't look uke enough!!!!!!!! The two actors don't look slashable. Unlike Orli and Viggo ^^ At least that's easy on the eyes ^^ To see the pictures for yourself, try putting a search through Google for 'harry potter movie cast' perhaps ^^ however i do think that peter jackson did a great job of bringing the books to life. i didn't even mind the expanded role for Arwen and so forth - everything he did just worked really well, and things that were different didn't matter. so i definitely agree with you there. gee, i wonder what HP would have been like if Jackson had done it instead of whatsisname - was it chris columbus? *nodnod* I think the difference between Peter Jackson and Christopher Columbus is that Peter has the passion for the story itself. Heck, that guy has been a crazy fan for years ^^;; Wherelse Chris just likes the book. I think LOTR was a success partly because of the care and fanatic dedication Peter put in. *grin* Yup, I've got a feeling HP would be much nicer if he did it. Then again, HP does not have the depth with which to make a major movie, IMO. The number of climaxes is just too few to keep the audience enraptured. And the world of Hogwarts does not have sufficient history to make it feel real. So in that sense, I feel it shouldn't be movie-ised ^^;; I really hope they stop making movies after Azkaban. Already, people are getting sick of the franchise ^^;; And Goblet OF Fire really sucks >.< But I'd really like to see Philip Pullman's books made into a movie or a trilogy of movies. That would be interesting to watch ^^ re.'not too spicy' meaning..?: LOL! as i understand it, when yaoi fans use the term, "spicy" means all the more blatant physical stuff. the more spicy the naughtier, i guess! *grin* i don't think i can put your current blog pic up on my desk at work, it's still a bit too suggestive *grin* got anything where there isn't too much blatant physical contact? you know, like leaning against a wall together but not really touching, that sort of thing... er ^^; O:^) *rotfl* we-ell. *flips through comic again* Unfortunately, no. Those two are rarely seen together, since they're not suposed to be together ^^;;;;;; I guess that pic will just have to be on your personal computer then *lol* In fact, Monsieur-Long-Hair is rarely seen at all T_T But there's plenty of those really HOT pictures of Monsieur-Black-Hair in black leather pants and holding guns XD XD XD Hmm. On second thought, I really must scan some of those in ^^V re.quality checks: ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!! makes me want to create a "quality check" button... you know, like those valid html buttons. *giggle* *lol* Maybe I should ^^ Maybe we should create a button which all of us in this lil' blog circle can use. Like a badge or something XD XD XD LOL. unfortunately, yeah. americans tend to overreact to these little things ^^; they get so excited when people are the "wrong" gender... *grinz* *rotfl* But that picture is just SO PRETTY!!!! *_* I was drooling all over it the first time I saw it *____* And finally, Shuh's reply: Oh horrors! rie doesn't know David Bowie was the Goblin King (King, not Prince *L*)! *gasp* We must throw her into the Bog of Eternal Stench!! Mwahahahahahaha!!! LOLOLOL! no, we'll give her to the Wise Old Man and his Hat for re-education! *grinz* O_o What?!!! Stejuste wrote 'Prince', so I followed wat ^^;;;;;;;;;;; *evokes the Great God Legolas to shoot arrows at Stejuste and Shu* *eeevil laughter* And I totally agre with you, Shu on the fact that Clay lost only because he was white T_T *sigh* Ah well, I'll definitely buy his album. Then he'll go Platinum first ^^V stardusted at 12:19 AM | link? 0 Call me number 1!© sephirot productions 2008 |
