Starstruck (perhaps)

Oh my! *laughs her head off*

Just watched Interview with the Vampire and Queen Of The Damned. *ROTFL* Gawd, it was just so hilarious *rotflmao* For one, the inaccuracies were appalling. I also found it amusing that they actually believed Anotonio Banderas would be a convincing young boy. O_o Brad Pitt could not carry off a pastel face and long hair. *winces* I almost fainted when I heard Lestat (tom cruise) tell Louise (brad pitt) "God, you're so beautiful." ((O_O)) I must say Tom Cruise did pretty well though. He was the only one who had the look of an aristocrat. The girl acting Claudia was convincing too. Otherwise, the show looked more like a pale mockery of the book than anything else >.< I thought Armand was supposed to be blonde! And I thought vampires shed blood tears!!!!!!!!! And Armand was supposed to be a -boy- who had not yet reached maturity. Antonio Banderas looked way past his prime O_O Goodness. This is too much for me. *stops to laugh again* *ROTFL*

As for Queen of The Damned, well, that was a little more interesting. ^^ As stejuste said, that movie is more of a music video than anything else! Lots of nice music, and a very delicious looking Lestat *grin* Other than that, the movie was plotless >.< Stuart Townsend was the only guy that kept me going ^^;;; Although I have to admit Marius didn't look too bad...but I thought Marius had long hair..???? And wasn't Lestat supposed to be blonde?? -____-||| And the ending, when Akasha was killed, had me in stitches. Everything was just so...wrong ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;; I was looking at the vampires who were supposed to kill Akasha. I managed to recognise Lestat, Marius, and Maharet. Although Maharet was supposed to have bloodshot violet eyes, non? And where was her twin sister?!! Then there were a few nameless old vampires. I assumed the indian looking one was Pandora, and another scarecrow looking one was the priest who became a vampire together with the twins... That left one unnamed vampire who was fat, ugly, short, had blonde hair, and looked like a tranvesite who underwent an operation that went wrong. Which left me puzzled. I didn't remember any vampire old enough with long blonde hair! So curious Rie takes a look at the credits and does a little bit of elimination. And she comes to a shocking conclusion. That guy was none other that...*gasp*...Armand!!!! *faints* I was stunned for quite a while after that *gags* Armand-who-looks-like-a-botcelli-angel! That ARMAND!!!!!! ((@_@))

And so I've come to the conclusion never ever to watch Anne Rice movie adaptations ever again. O_O Otherwise you come out scarred for life. T_T

On other things, well, watched X Men 2 the other day. Nice ^^ I loved the special FX and Wolverine ^^V Kelly Hu's role was a disappointment though, cos they hyped it up so much, but all I saw was a few minutes of nails flying around O_O And she died. O_O Gan-er-Magneto was a funny sight to see XD XD XD I kept imagining gandalf in the place of magneto. And couldn't stop laughing *rotfl* Ah well. I guess I have a perverse sense of humour ^^V Otherwise, the movie had a Plot (thank goodness) ^^ And the acting was good. ^^ So that was a pleasure to see. ^^
