Tuesday, February 18, 2003went for a so-called job interview today, only it was more like a briefing than an interview, and a total waste of time ^^;;;;;; The organisation was the American Soy Bean Association. My mum heard the name and went "What? The American Association Of Soy Beans?!" which set me laughing helplessly. I suddenly got this picture of soy beans sitting at the round table and discussing business. *rotfl*And since I'm at it, here's some replies to those who said nice things about my eye tutorial ^____^ to pl: radial muscles. Ah. There were two types of muscles, right? One was the circular one, and the other was the radial one. Was the other called circular muscles? *big sweatdrop* Is sad, i can hardly remember all that bio terminology..>.< Mou, and I see pl has resorted to curt, monosyllabic, incomprehensible replies again ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;; To the rest, pl was answering my question as to what those lines on the iris was called ^^; to stejuste:holy cow. i never knew it was so complicated to draw one eye :) you're really talented, girl! i so envy people who can draw *sigh* :) i bought betty edwards' "drawing on the right side of the brain" while i was on vacation. it's very interesting and it did improve my drawing somewhat. at least i finally realized that proportions are important, although i'm still incapable of.. never mind *grin* *bow* sankyuu~ ^o^ Actually, that one eye took me years to perfect ^^;;;;;;;; You should have seen my first, it looked like an egg or something -_-;; I used to draw eyes on every bit of paper I could find during lessons and stuff. My friends' used to complain since I was drawing on the table and on their worksheets *sheepish grin* Just takes lots and lots of practice. I still can't draw the right eye though. *sigh* I always botch up somewhere *grin* thanks for the songs, dear! so far i like coldplay more than travis, the voice is deeper the way i prefer *grin* but travis isn't bad too. that was unexpected (you see!) - travis sounded quite light and folksy, and i was under the impression that you like the heavier jrock stuff :) *lol* i used to like the heavier stuff. These days, I'm into the lighter, more melodic side of rock music *grin* My moods keep changing, so maybe who knows? I'll start liking heavy metal tomorrow *lol* The good thing about Travis is the sense of abandonment in their songs. It's like you can forget all your worries when you listen to them. Coldplay, on the other hand, can get rather upsetting, but it's still good ^^ i have heard of hellsing, never got around to checking it out. don't have kazaa either, will have to go download the program. only have winmx right now, which i use mainly for mp3-gathering :) and hmmm! - what makes you think i'll love it because it's about vampires? :> did i say something about the topic somewhere that i have forgotten? :> Well, Hellsing is basically about vampires versus humans, that kinda thing. The plot is great, and the characters are very interesting. Especially Alucard. Bishonen da yo~! *_* Long, straight black hair, sharp chin, tall, red cloak, sexy low voice...You get the idea ^^ -He- is why I think you'll like the show ^^ IMO, kazaa is much faster than winmx. If you do want to download kazaa, go get kazaa lite. It's much better than kazaa in the sense that there's no spyware. You can get the latest version here. The soundtrack of Hellsing is real good too! The overrall style is reminiscent of 80s classical rock. Very good music. ^^ here i am still limping along on a 4 gig laptop drive :P :) i've been contemplating (still!) the new computer i plan to get, and at first i thought 60 gigs would be fine. but here i am with my pc at work, which started at 40 gigs and i've already used up almost 20. on absolutely nothing. *shudder* guess i'll go for a 100 or a 120 gig drive. or maybe two 80s or something. *lol* I actually only used up 15 GB ^^;;;; Broadband is a vice, I tell you. Not that I'm complaining *grin* Am now wondering why did I ever choose a 30Gb drive?! I should've got a 100GB or something...*SIGH* How do you survive on a 4GB? I think I'll just die if I only had that much space *grin* Thank goodness for my cd writer though. I think I'll be in dire straits without it ^^V actually i don't know if you *would* have any of the songs i have... my taste is quite "oldies"-ish *grin* you probably wouldn't *like* the songs i have! :) i've sent you the matchbox20 and the anime/jpop stuff, it's pretty much all i have minus the gackt *grin* *grin* you'll be surprised! I actually love oldies. Alot ^^ If you notice, alot of what I'm listening to now is actually rather similar to the beatles *grin* Also love classical music from the romantic period, better if it's violin solos or string quartets ^^ I pretty much like everything that's melodious, except techno, disco, rap and pop ^^ Thanx for the files btw! Will now go on my download spree ^^ someday i would like to see a *real* blue or black rose :) i know blue roses *have* been bred, but i doubt black ones can be found... Black and blue roses do exist you know ^^ Some special breed or someting. You can find them in the queen's gardens in London, if i'm not wrong. My mom once saw the black roses there. Damn. I only wish it were me ^^; (re: legolas and green)you're obsessed, i tell you, completely obsessed!!! rotlfmao!!!!!!!!! :) *sputters indignantly* Hey! Look: Elf = woods. Woods = trees. Trees = green. Hence, elf = green. See, a perfectly logical relation! Am not obssessed! Am not! ^^ to xephyris: It's great to be able to draw well, naaa... me, I can only model stuff on the computer... arigato~ ^^ Hey, modelling on the comp takes lots of effort! Really admire those who can *grin* stardusted at 5:09 AM | link? 0 Call me number 1!© sephirot productions 2008 |
