In my first two days enjoying cable, I downloaded all the Goo Goo Dolls, Colplay, Verve, Travis and Starsailor albums. Very naughty, me. *sheepish grin* But I am really really broke ^^;; As you can see, it's all eng. rock. I got a little tired of jrock, so I'm taking a break. *grin* Here's some recommendations. Pl, if you're reading this, I strongly recommend you to try some of the songs. I think you'll like some. ^__^

Travis rocks! Love their songs! Go try it! Listen to Flowers In The Window, Follow The Light and Why Does It Always Rain On Me. *grin* You won't regret it. And I'm quite sure there's quite a few people who've heard Why Does It Always Rain On Me. It's a classic. I'm not sure if this is a cover though. Anyone knows who was the original singer? Or was it really written by Travis? Those who love the About A Boy soundtrack, Coldplay, Suede and soft alt. brit rock should like Travis, I think. Very good songs, IMO, and a very good vocalist. *grin* I especially recommend The Invisible Man album.

Hm. Let's see. Oh. Also got a few of my favourite classics by Chicago. *sigh* Really mushy, those songs, but real good, still. I'm listening to You're The Inspiration, Hard To Say I'm Sorry, Glory Of Love and Look Away. *sigh* Makes you think of the good old days. *grin*

Mou, and I think the A Rush Of Blood To The Head album by Coldplay is their best album yet. Very good to relax. It's very very very soft rock ^^; Much better than Parachutes, IMO.

Other special recommendations:

Stereophonics - Have A Nice Day
Robbie Williams - I Will Talk And Hollywood Will Listen (classic egoistical song, this one. But lovely nonetheless.)
Oasis - Don't Look Back In Anger (So everyone has probably heard this song already. But I only just discovered it, and I think it's one of the best songs Oasis wrote. ^^;)
Supergrass - Grace
Wannbes - You and Me Song
Coldplay - Clocks ; The Scientist

Been reading LOTR RPS (real person slash) recently. *big sweatdrop* As you can tell, I was very, very bored. All thanks to sue. Now she's got me hooked *sigh* Hm. I do think I can hear snorts of indignation and disgust from pl. Muahahaha. *big evil grin*

Right. And here's some selectors:

+type of music+

Take the test, by Emily.

Seriously, what song is this? I've been hearing classical music, but I never catch the titles. I mean, if they ramble on in pseudo-german, how will you ever catch it? -_-|| I've got a feeling I will recognise the tune. Someone enlighten me. *grin*

+type of sheep+

Which flock do you follow?

Riiight. Bleagh. What's a goth sheep anyway?

+petshop of horros pet+

 Now you own a Phoenix

Your Pet is Suiou, a male Phoenix

You are a dreamer and so you need a creature who can blur reality's lines. As a divine beast, beautiful & elegant Suiou has power over reincarnation cycles and can help you obtain the new life you desire, even make you go back to a happier past. He can also grant your every wish, regardless of how impossible or unreal. Just beware of his caprices: what you want might come with a twist.

Find the PetShop of Horrors Pet for you.

Oooh. *rubs hands in glee* I got a bi-sho-nen for a pet! ^______^ Quite accurate, really. If all phoenixes looked this good, I'll be in heaven *grin* After the quiz, I'm beginning to think Petshop Of Horrors is very interesting. Hm. Shall try and talk someone into lending me the books. Yes, sue, you win. I should've listened to you when you told me it's good; I should've believed you when you told me it's shonen-ai. ^^;;;;

7 days to the Suede concert. ^________^V

Btw, hi, KT. ^^
