Just finished 2 out of 4 physics papers. Argh. I'm 4 days away from freedom, but it feels like eternity! >.< Physics was o-kay, not very very good, but good enough, thank goodness! Although this most probably means that the other two would be really hard *shucks*

Anyway, visited the LOTR official homapage as a sort-of reward *grin* And guess what I found?! Pretty pretty Legolas wallpapers! *faints* To get there, click on the link above, and then go to "Desktop". Then choose the "special extended dvd" collection. *_* Is very nice. It's a picture of him deep in concentration over his bow. **_** If you like horses, check out the Shadowfax one, under the "horses" collection too!

And now, to stejuste *grin*

yay, i have good taste! *joins rie in patting self on back* :) yep, i do think it's hilarious that they're all smitten by Mr Amethyst Eyes :) i need to learn japanese and get hold of the manga... i was pretty impressed by the dvds though.. there was more yaoi content than i expected! i had thought that YnM was like Weiss Kreuz, ie. the yaoi parts were all made up by fans. i was really pleased to find that it was actually part of the original story. do you by any chance know how many anime eps there are? i'm wondering whether i have them all or if there's more... (i had 9 eps on one dvd and 4 on the second dvd = 13 total)

*heh* It -is- an explicit yaoi manga dear! There's even a sort-of confession thingy between Tsuzuki and Tatsumi ^__^/ As for the no. of eps, there's currently only 13, as far as I know. The other parts are still being made I think ^^; The manga has gone a little further - Tsuzuki's 12 um, gods(?) have all appeared! And I think Soryuu is really cute! He looks like Tatsumi, only with long hair *hee*

There's another interesting yaoi anime you might like to check out, called Gravitation *rotfl* It's a fluffy yaoi anime, which sent me into uncontrollable fits of laughter *grin* Basically, it's about an up-and-coming band called -something- (i forgot the name. Methinks it might be Gravitation, but I'm not sure ^^;;;) The vocalist Shuichi has pink hair, and spends half his life in chibi mode; something like Tsuzuki, only this guy takes it to greater heights *lol* His eventual lover Yuki is a popular romance novel writer with a really bad attitude (they met only because Yuki criticised Shuichi's pathetic song lyrics) Their relationship becomes something of a comedy, and there's this part where you catch Shuichi clinging onto yuki and going "Yukiyukiyuuuuuukiiiiii~! ^__^/" It's quite popular, so if you want to find out more, just put a search through Google ^^

hey! my dvd wasn't pirated O:^) at least, i should bloody hope not. i mean, it was selling on a legit online store and i paid a regular price for it... the box looked legit enough too... if it was pirated, it was done well enought that i couldn't tell :) (which isn't saying much, i doubt i'd be able to tell anyway *grin*)

*heh* you never know, but as long as it's cheap and good, I don't really bother ^^

i have noticed people making a fuss over the distinction between hentai-lovers and yaoi-lovers. apparently tentacles, whips and gaybois don't always get along :>

You mean there's a difference?! *lol* Some people just love to complicated things ne? ^^;

hmm, i agree. he probably *would* make a better-looking elrond. at least i wouldn't miss ten minutes of LOTR being in shock at seeing Agent Smith with pointy ears and long hair. (uh.. where's that earpiece with the microphone? and the shades? and why's he in a floaty dress instead of a waiter suit? uhhhhh... i want my mommyyyyy!!)

*rotfl* Actually, I watched LOTR before Matrix. So when I watched matrix, it was the other way round. I was screaming "omigawd! That's elrond sis! Elrond!" ((O_O)) Yeah, I think after you've watched one or the other, you tend to get freaked out ^^;;

rotflmao! oh dear... *wiping tears from eyes* you have the gift of words *grin* i couldn't stop laughing when i read this. misplaced wrinkles!!! *imaging all kinds of strange places where wrinkles might be misplaced* *howllll*!!!! :)

*rotfl* Honestly, I didn't mean to set your imagination on overdrive. Not thinking naughty things are you? Tsk ^____^ Actually, what you just said has set me thinking of how to misplace wrinkles *heh* Didn't think of that this way before

i'm not actually an LOTR fan (actually i thought tolkien wasn't all that great a writer and LOTR never really absorbed me - i prefer Eddings, which isn't saying much, which i suppose means that it *is* saying much...*g*)

the name glorfindel sounds familiar but i can't place it precisely. i was surprised to find Arwen being given so much screentime, since she really didn't appear much in the three books at all, but i didn't have a problem with it because she did look rather nice and i just loved the sound of the elvish words. and after all, that little Arwen x Aragron tryst at dusk on the bridge in Rivendell was just prime desktop wallpaper material O:^)

*grin* Yup, that was a nice picture, I'd have to admit. Remember that scene in Lothlorien just after Gandalf 'died'? I thought that scene where Legolas was wearing proper elvish robes and looking appropriately angsty was was perfect! My favourite-est scene of the entire movie! Glorfindel only appeared in the first book I think, and I remember that while Glorfindel had whole paragraphs, Arwen had one sentence *big sweatdrop*

i have to admit i have a little difficulty imagining Aragorn x Legolas. maybe coz they never had much in the way of slashable scenes... Aragorn seems too determinedly hetero and manly. Legolas *does* look like he could be gay, but he's so darn self-contained it's hard to imagine him actually lusting after anyone. it's too bad there weren't any decent scenes like the Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan Coruscant balcony scene, or the QuiGon death scene... *sniff* Now if Aragorn and Legolas had some dubious scenes like *that*, my imagination might start working a little better :)

Hmm, I think there was one dubious scene, the same one that I mentioned above. I think Aragorn and Legolas were alone for some time, yes? And the part during the council meeting, when Legolas stood up to Boromir for Aragorn *grin* Trust me to see things that are hardly there *lol* So, imangination working now? ^__^

addendum : and i just got hold of the deathgate ebooks five minutes ago, btw :> 7 of them, ne? i'll add those to your little upload pile :>

*glomps stejuste* oh thankyouthankyouthankyou!!!!!!!! You don't know how much money you just saved for me *glomps stejuste again* I was about to buy all 7 books for my little collection *grin* I tend to buy books which I like and then chuck them in my 'good books' corner to collect dust ^^;;;; I love ebooks! I think they save me alot of space, considering my bookshelf is about to burst its seams *sweatdrop* I have to periodically clear out all my sisters books from her half of the shelf just to put stuff, earning lots of complaints from her ^^;;;

so, your term of travail is almost at an end! :) how are you planning on celebrating the end of your exams? (i guess this question goes to all the rest of you too!)

^^V I've actually made a long long list over the course of 6 months. I'd add stuff now and then as it came to me. Let's see, there's a "Webpage designs to try" list, a "blog designs to try" list, a "pro-exams reading list" and a "mp3s to download" list. *grin* Total of 6 pages. Add to that a "movies to watch" list and a "misc things to do" list and you've got a 10 page writeup *sheepish grin* As to how to celebrate, I think i'd watch Harry Potter first *grin* Then I'd go splurge all my savings on books at Kinokuniya ^^V And then I'd attack the library for the new Mercedes Lackey books *rubs hands in glee* Ooooh...I can't wait to get me hands on the YNM calendar I ordered! *prays hard that there'll be at least one tatsumi picture*
