about me This author is from a small little dot in the SE
Asian continent. Can't quite pinpoint the location? Well you need to revise
your geography then. But it starts with an S, if you were wondering. ^^
She's currently studying in the US. Most times she's a student, always she's
a dreamer, with some jot of freak artistic talent thrown in. Magic, beauty,
and peace attracts her, as does good music and a good story. She loves slash,
and always appreciates her bishonen.
"Sweet Valley is horrible. After a while I realised that the story for every book was basically the same. As in really THE SAME, not just following a 'template' (get quest-do quest-complete quest-yay), but THE SAME." --pl
*lol* I agree totally! I miss Enid Blyton. Then again, it was also rather cliched. I remember I was reading Agatha Christie at that time. ^__^V Completed the whole series, and then never touched mysteries again. I wonder why? I also loved Roald Dahl!!! Esio Trot! Esio Trot! *lol* I missed that. And "The Minpins"! That was my favourite-est book ever. Loved the art.
As for the Harry Potter bashing, ah well, I suppose it's just me. ^^; I just felt that it the book wasn't really living up to the hoo-hah. But I do agree that 'The Prizoner of Azkaban' was the best! But that might be attributed to Lupin and Sirius. I do think they make a nice pair. *heh* Though I think the fanart is more impressive than the book itself. O_O;; Ok, ok, I take back the bashing. ^__^ I suppose deep down somewhere I sorta (only sorta) like it. ^-^
