Took some liberties and gave myself a break today. Accompanied my mom to Taka to buy mooncakes. ^____^ De-Li-Cious~! Was happily sampling every single flavour from every single store. I eventually learnt to stick to the original lotus-paste ones - the green tea one was incredibly disgusting. *yech*

Also bought Sandman 7. -Finally-. It's a lovely book! I previously thought Fables and Reflections (book 6) was good. But this is even better. One word - hilarious! It starts off with Morpheus over-reacting again, and Mervyn's griping about how his lord just -has- to put in the rain so that he could angst in style. *lol* Then Delirium starts pestering everyone to help her find Destruction. Dream sorta agreed. You should have seen his face when Delirium drove. *bwahaha* It got so bad that he had to call out Matthew to 'advise' his sister. And then it was Matthew's turn to start screaming. *rotfl* And Barnabas and Destruction make their first appearance here. Barnabas was cute. ^^

Also, I just went to the bookstore, and managed to skim through Anne Rice's Merrick. Icky. I've stopped reading her series after Armand. It's crazy! I mean, Lestat wakes in 'Armand', then in 'Merrick', he went back to his 'coma' again. Then he woke at the end. And another new vampire was made. Seems like a new vampire is made everytime a book ends. ^^;;; 'Armand' was already off track. It was just a very well-concealed soft-porn story. O_O;; Honest. There's one entire chapter dedicated to how he 'learnt' his 'bed-prowess'. On the other hand, her sister, Alice Bordchadt(sp?) has a new book called Dragon Queen. Hmm. Am thinking of borrowing that soon. Her sis writes much better stories. With no sex. ^^;;;

Oh, btw, Tetsu of Laruku fame has released a new single. I was, frankly, shocked when I heard it. I actually thought it was JILS' new single when I heard it. I didn't know he could sing. And it's a great rock no. It's called Shinkiro. You can sample it here under 'Chart-to'. Glay has a new album called " UNITY ROOTS & FAMILY. AWAY " Suede has a new album too. And Suede is coming for a concert. There goes my money. *sob*

And did you know 'Yeti' when translated to englilsh, actually means 'That thing over there'? *rotfl* Actually, Gaiman mentioned this in Smokes and Mirrors. I went around saying to my family "Hey, what's Yeti?" with this smirk on my face. *haha*

Mary poppins?? nono, I never tried. ^^;;; I never really liked George's Marvellous Medicine. Cruel. *grin* But yes! I loved Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! Minpins is still my favourite, though. Have you read this one before? It's very thin, and fully illustrated. About small people in trees, with suction boots so they can walk upside down. ^^ Did you watch James and the Giant Peach on ch.5 a few days ago? It was really good. Sponge -really- looked like Sponge. *haha* It was directed by Tim Burton, the Nightmare before Christmas and Edward Scissorhands guy. So you can imagine that it was very good. ^^

As for the bashing, gee, pl, I just assumed that you were stating your opinion, didn't really feel the hostility, so don't worry. I expected people to say things like that, so it's ok ^__^ "But somehow rie manages to sound good-natured even when she's bashing something." - I liked that. *grin*
