*cracks knuckles* Oh yeah...i'm on a roll. Prelims overrrr~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Muahahahahaha* Let's see now, what good things happened? laa-dee-dah~~~
Ok, first things first - I've updated my homepage!! Yup yup yup! Check it out, link's on your left. Finally put up a Gackt gallery! Scanning it was painful though *wince* My arm ached like s*** after scanning all 32 pgs...*whine* Also put up some hide scans, actually obtained from the hide mag i bought for pl. *sweatdrop* I couldn't resist the temptation. There's a few pix that look exactly like something out of Angel Sanctuary! He reminds me of Rociel. Also put up the Vampire Hunter D and Daniel wallpaper I mentioned here before.
Econs paper was horrible, or rather, the DRQ paper was horrible. They asked some crap like "globalisation". The only things I could come up with were the social/cultural issues. Nothing economical about that. *wail* I'd never done a DRQ paper where I couldn't do -both- the 6 mark questions before...so there's my 12 marks. All gone. Gone. *dramatic hysteria sets in about here.*
So, I went out yesterday, alone. Cos everyone takes S papers or bio and I don't. No one to go out with. *sigh* I was armed to the teeth with sing dollars, prepared to splurge on Gackt and Glay albums. Both were sold out. Lucky me. Then I went to Kino, and ordered a Yami No Matsuei calendar. I've got no idea what it looks like. I just hope that it's worth all 27 bucks.
Then I went to Junction 8 to get Musique Antiqua tix. Turned out Sistic didn't sell them. So i spent that money on -manga- instead. *grins from ear to ear* I got 2 friggin' You higuri comics!!!! *dances around in joy* My beautiful beautiful bishonen!!! One's on some fallen angel - lucifer, and his twin, Michael. (sounds familiar? hmmm???) Only this time, they're both the same height, and Michael here looks waaay prettier. And they're both gay. *grins until she looks like she's gonna pop* The second was disappointing. It's set in Venice (which was why i bought it in the first place) but it's also, sadly, straight - two guys after one girl! *slaps forehead* What IS this world coming to?!!! (and about here, pl will go 'It's not the world, qiongz. I think it's you.' *grin* Right pl?) But, BUT, being you higuri, the story ended with one of them turning gay. Sorta. *makes victory sign* All Hail Higuri-sama!
Also, I think i forgot to mention that I was inexplicably drawn to the orchard library during my journeyings. Swept up Good Omens, and 3 other Card books - The Call Of Earth, The Memory of Earth and Songmaster. Good Omens is a scream! Gawd! I was reduced to helpless fits of laughter by just reading the author introductions. I love the storyline. And the footnotes (especially the footnotes). And Arizaphale, the impeccable angel. On the book cover, he looks like Jude Law with bleached hair. (i.e. Yuck.) In my mind, he looks exactly like Teiteiyus from Seimaden. *swoon*
Now, dear, bored readers, that was a tirade on Yesterday. The following shall be one on Today. *grin*
I watched About A Boy. It's really funny! You guys should watch it! Hugh Grant's bachelor pad is impressive - Bauchlombe (sp?) stereo system, plasma tv, and the Apple cube. Of course, it all pales in comparison once you insert Grant. *DROOL* It's about this guy Will (hugh grant) who is a self-confessed loner. He's filthy rich, does nothing, and loves acting cool. He also believes that the person who said "No man is an island" is Jon Bon Jovi. (It's actually John Donne (sp?) ) Then along comes a boy (wierd looking kid) which he begins to like. Then..you watch. *grin* It's actually a sensible movie, something that I would watch again. And if I say I'd watch it again, it's worth it. So far, the only ones I'd watch again are Lord Of The Rings, Matrix, Moulin Rouge and The Nightmare Before Christmas.And the soundtrack is great! Very british feel to it. Exactly like the Beatles.
Now, social blogging ^^V
++raydance++
(O.O) Wow. I've never ever read a blog written by someone in love before. It looks like you're experiencing spring. *grin* But i love the layout. I can almost feel your 'spring'. ^^/ And yes. Let's exchange!! I want the Death books!!!!!! ^__^ Deal?
++AA++
Now, dearie, you've got me worried. What the heck are you talking about?? Tsk. The exams must be getting to you. ^^ Jia you~! And good luck for Econs S!
++Stejuste++
Cool, I never expected people other than my friends to read this. ^____^ You really should set up your own blog you know. Or do you have one? *grin* So that the comments word limit won't bother you. (that is, if there's one. I dunno either. ^^;)
Is CSI nice? I've never really watched it. The only american shows I really loved were Friends and Malcolm in the Middle. I refuse to watch the X-Files cos they scare me. ^^;;
As for vanyel lookalikes, oooh...yeah, michael praed does look like him! But Greg Payne is an even better match - v. androgynous! Just search his name - but watch out! There's more than one! Make sure you type 'model'. ^^;;;
Obiwan and quigon??!!!! *cringe* I didn't Star Wars/Trek had yaoi...^^;;;;;;;; Nope. It's good ol' Legolas x Aragorn slash for me. *dreamy look* But I do like Sirius x Lupin. ^_^ Can you imagine, one wolf and one dog?? *grin* If sue were reading this, she would launch into a tirade on the merits of bestial relationships.
I actually liked Tale of the Body Thief. I liked the idea! *grin* hey, send me the Merrick e-book!!! Is it possible? I don't mind reading,as long as I don't have to pay. *sheepish grin* Pandora sucks. I agree. It's useless fluff. The other one, Vittorio, was nicer (or it might be me being biased to cute guys). Violin was so nice and sweet! And Memnoch. It's heaven, dear. ^^; Although I do have to admit that I spent half the time trying to make sense of the waves of intellectual pursuit on gods and devils and stuff. Complex. She should learn from Good Omens - short and simple. Everything is just 'ineffable' in there. *rotfl*
